About this template

Follow six original before/after panels to fold a traditional dog face from a separate square of paper. Starter keeps three simple folds separate: the diagonal, left ear and right ear, then drawing the face. Growing adds a center fold/unfold and a front-layer chin fold, for five creases. Paper orientation stays consistent, dotted lines locate creases and arrows show the moving corner. Adults demonstrate unfamiliar folds; use approximately 15 cm square paper. The finished model is open artwork, with no answer key. Geometry and print output are checked; physical assembly has not been trialed.

Suggested ages 6–10 · interpreting folds
