About this template

Place one star in each row, column and connected outlined region. Stars cannot touch, including diagonally; a shaded halo demonstrates the exclusion. Starter uses five-by-five and Growing six-by-six, both with one star per line and region. Repeated region letters distinguish boundaries in grayscale. Each original board has exactly one placement. The separate key marks all stars; no two-star rule is introduced at the growing level.

Suggested ages 8–12 · spatial exclusion
