About this template

Build an original paper rocket around a wider straw sleeve whose top is sealed and whose base remains open over a freely sliding narrow launching straw. Starter repeats three launches of one body. Growing compares identical paper bodies, with two additional mirrored fins on B and visible glue positions. Keep sleeve length, launcher, launch line, angle and person the same; measure along the floor from the launch line to the first landing. Three measurements per design support a real comparison rather than an expected distance. Adult assembly and a clear launch space away from faces are required.

Suggested ages 6–10 · launch and measurement
