About this template

Fill each connected heavy-line region of size n with every number from one through n. Equal numbers cannot touch horizontally, vertically or diagonally. A three-cell example explains the inventory; there is no Sudoku row rule. Starter uses four-by-four, Growing five-by-five with differently shaped regions and fewer given values. Region sizes vary from two to five. Both original puzzles have one solution. The separate key fills every cell.

Suggested ages 8–12 · local number exclusion
